Through its faculties, centers and branches, the UNA makes a substantial contribution to the development of the country. The strategic location of its university campuses means it has a national presence and impact through teaching, outreach and university research.
The UNA has eight university campuses, libraries, experimental stations, research institutes and high-quality laboratories. The Regional Branches and the Regional Section are decentralized academic and administrative bodies that promote, coordinate and execute the university's substantive action in their regions, in accordance with the demands and needs of regional and national development. They are made up of “campuses” located in different parts of the region, within the framework of the guidelines established by institutional planning.
